Haircut day! 13-1-12

Hi everyone! Its been a month since i last blogged. I was feeling so lazy these days. Today I will just do a backlog on my hair cut for Chinese New Year 2012. The pictures have been on my desktop for a whole month.

Usually when it comes to hair cut for me, I will go for it like every 4-6 months. Reason being im having trouble getting to the correct hairstylist. Right here in Singapore, I have some terrible experiences. Some common ones will be going to a hair stylist that doesn't bother to listen or see what you want and they just go cut whatever they wish, Lots of communication error with some of them where you do not want some parts to be short yet they cut it short and etc.

This year I went to the place my friend is working at. It's situated right inside NUS.

Though it may seem as if it was not cut much. In fact it was quite a lot. (Refer to the first picture on top) This is like the 3rd or 4th time I've went to this place for my haircut. They fact that it makes me wants to go back is because of trust and they do LISTEN to what you want even if you take quite sometime to describe what you want. The other place which I frequent would be KIZUKI LIM situated at Raffles Hotel.

I am pleased with the haircut overall. He did everything I have said and requested so even if it sucks I have only myself to blame. The best thing out from this hair cut is the price! It's damn cheap IMO. I don't mind paying they extra few bucks more than the local express haircut salon. Which you will probably come out with some default template hairstyle which looks like the same one as 20 others while walking through town. 

I "will" try my best to blog as much as I can even though these days things are not going that smoothly for me. STILL I will try and get the happy moments that happened penned down over here.

Farewell to my sister!

Today is the day my sister is flying to NYC for her work training for three months. We had a family dinner before her flight near the coffee shop at my place


She brought a total of 48kg of luggage to NYC!


Lucky girl get to take business class. 真的是同人不同命 After checking in her luggage we had coffee as a family over at the airport terminal. Can see my father is kinda sad and worried. Though she is my sister, she's a complete opposite of my although both of us are working in the banking industry. Unlike her I'm not that educated. I don't get to travel as much as her. She lived a quarter of a century and she has visited almost every continent in this world. I'm still trying to find what am I better than her in heehee.

This is taken right before she left. She looks happy and I feel happy for her too. While I was helping her with the luggage check in. I actually felt excited and happy too. It's like as if I'm going to NYC instead. Nevertheless I'm happy for her. Hope she will enjoy over there on behalf of our family.

Astons and wine bar @ Zouk

Had an awesome dinner yesterday with my colleague at Aston. We went to the branch at the new Citibank building.

I like the ambience over there at night. Maybe there are not many people there and it's quiet hee.



After work we headed off to wine at @ Zouk with colleagues from another team. Awesome chill out session where we just slack and chat. Had a couple of drinks and hot dogs. The hot dog is real expensive IMO. Teased my colleague Steph on how to order her hotdog in hokkien. Everyone was laughing their ass off. The best part was she wasn't even a tad embarrassed. What a sporting girl!

We left at around 3am and head home. Took a shower and began to raid on my rogue. Finally manage to get 4pc T13! Now it seems that the new 85s I had are overtaking my old ones interms of ilvl.

Though things are not going easy but Im trying to let myself live better by counting my blessings

2012 New Year

 

It's 2012! I hope that everything was awesome in 2011 for you guys! Those that did not really have a good year in 2011 time to dumped the bad things that happened and start anew in this awesome year!

 As for me this year, actually I did not do a lot but i do enjoy my new year's eve.

Firstly I had dinner with my family and golly-locks over at a chinese restaurant in Bedok. We are having early reunion dinner this year as my sis will be flying off to NYC for her job training.

After the dinner, We headed off to our friend's place for BBQ. It's been a long time since we had BBQ at his place with everyone. We bought too much food end up in the end there are quite alot of leftovers.
Next we had games session. Seems like a group of little kids excited about playing games. First we played 2 rounds of taboo with the guys and girls divided into 2 teams. During the first round we won the girls hands down with a 30 points plus lead. In the end we decided a forfeit for them!

After that we had 2nd round of taboo. This time we guys lost and have to drink. So nothing much since it's pretty much an incentive to us since we all love to drink.

We proceeded to carry on with other games like Jenga: Truth or Dare? and Monopoly. Nothing much to blog about these as everyone energy level went downhill and we got to call it off at around 5am.

Tired much for us maybe we are really getting older. But I do had fun this new year!

This blog will be keeping track of the positive and happy things that is going to happen to me this year onwards.
Always have the tendency to remember negative and sad stuff. Hopefully this will help improve my life.
